Equines for Fosters is a nonprofit organization that gives kids in foster care the opportunity to spend time with horses. Participants have the chance to work on horsemanship skills, and their time with the horses includes groundwork plus riding. The kids get the therapeutic benefit of being around horses, creating a positive relationship with their lesson horse, and having an activity that they enjoy.
The goal of these activities is to create a quiet, safe, and encouraging atmosphere in which our participants can learn, grow, and dream. We strive to give these kiddos something to look forward to and remember.
Participants pay nothing so anyone in foster care can enjoy being around and riding horses.
Your support and contributions will help enable us to provide equine assisted activities to youth in foster care. Your generous donation will help cover the costs of equine assisted activities by paying for these kids have an experience like none other.
